Why Hopestone Solutions?

At Hopestone Solutions, we believe no family should have to navigate senior care alone.

Our journey into this work didn’t start as a business. It started as a daughter trying to do the right thing.

When our founder first experienced senior living, it was through her grandmother. With no prior experience and limited resources, her family placed her in a state-funded facility close to home. Walking in, it smelled like urine. The residents looked like they were simply waiting to die. Her grandmother, who was capable of being up and engaged, was often left in bed and developed bedsores. It was heartbreaking, and for a long time, it shaped the belief that all senior living was like that.

Years later, everything changed.

After her father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, the family needed more support than they could provide at home. This time, they found a care environment that was completely different. Compassionate. Attentive. Dignified. That experience revealed something important. Not all senior living is the same, and the right environment can make all the difference.

Then came the moments that truly defined this mission.

When her mother suffered two strokes, the family was told she would be discharged from rehab in just three days! They had to quickly figure out care with no roadmap, no guidance, and overwhelming pressure. In-home care costs were staggering, and availability was limited. With the clock ticking, she had to learn the entire senior care system in a matter of days while trying to make the right decision for her mom.

It was stressful, emotional, and incredibly overwhelming.

Thankfully, a senior placement professional stepped in and helped guide them to a safe, nearby community where her mom could be cared for with dignity. That experience changed everything. It showed what it feels like to have someone in your corner when it matters most.

Not long after, her step-father’s health declined, and he too needed placement. He now lives in the same community as her mom did… where he is cared for, supported, and surrounded by friends. A place that feels like home.

Through each of these experiences, one thing became clear.

Families are often forced to make some of the biggest decisions of their lives under intense pressure, with little time, limited knowledge, and no clear direction.

Angela Bowers

Angela founded Hopestone Solutions after navigating the senior care journey firsthand with multiple members of her own family. From placing her grandmother in a state-funded facility that fell short of expectations, to helping her father through late-stage cancer care, to urgently finding placement for her mother after two strokes, Angela has experienced the emotional and logistical challenges families face during some of life’s most difficult transitions.
When her mother was discharged from rehab with only days to find care, Angela had to quickly learn the senior living landscape while managing overwhelming pressure and limited options. With the help of a placement professional, she was able to find a safe, nearby community where her mother could receive care with dignity. That experience left a lasting impact and revealed how critical it is to have someone knowledgeable and compassionate guiding the process.
Not long after, her stepfather, who has been in her life for over 50 years, also needed support and now lives in a community where he is well cared for and surrounded by friends. Through each of these experiences, Angela developed a deep appreciation for the importance of advocacy, guidance, and thoughtful decision-making in senior care.
Angela brings over 26 years of leadership and mentoring experience as a Navy civilian, along with a background in the medical field, giving her confidence in navigating conversations with healthcare professionals and understanding care needs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and is also a real estate investor, providing her with a unique ability to help families think through not only care decisions, but also financial considerations and housing transitions.
Angela is known for her ability to problem solve, advocate, and guide families with both clarity and compassion. She approaches every situation as if she were helping her own family, with the goal of ensuring each client feels supported, informed, and confident in their decisions.

Brent Bowers

Operations and Strategic Support

Brent plays a supportive, behind-the-scenes role at Hopestone Solutions, helping ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently. While not client-facing, he contributes to operations, strategy, and overall business support.

He is a Vice President at a telecommunications company, where he brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to his role. Brent holds a degree in Business Information Systems and shares Angela’s commitment to serving others with integrity and care.

Known for being thoughtful, steady, and compassionate, Brent is a trusted partner in both life and business.
